Jimoh Sunmonu,FCA,CAAN

Jimoh is a trained accountant and a financial analyst. An auditor with over 15 years’ experience with one of the “big four” accounting firms – KPMG, both in Nigeria and Sierra Leone. Jimoh started his career with KPMG Nigeria in 2003 and rose through the ranks to become assistant manager before leaving the Lagos firm for Sierra Leonean firm in March 2010 as a manager. He recently left KPMG Sierra Leone as a Senior Manager after serving in the audit division of the Sierra Leonean firm for over eight (8) years. During his career at KPMG, he travelled to several countries within the ECOWAS sub-region for audit and other assurance engagements and South Africa for trainings on IAS 19 requirements.
Whilst with KPMG, he was fully involved in the review of assumptions (both financial and demographic) applied in the end of service benefits computation, financial statements disclosure requirements of IAS 19 – Employee Benefits and interpretation of Sierra Leonean Labour Law, as applicable.

Jimoh, a holder of BSc Economics, is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sierra Leone (ICASL), a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN) and a Certified Actuarial Analyst of Nigeria (CAAN).
